Australia Day

We went to Mooloolaba beach for Australia Day today. What can I say? It was weird. Australians are weirdly patriotic, on the verge of being a little bit too much. Or perhaps very much too much. Anyways, it was good to see NJ again and M got to play with a little girl his age all afternoon and fell asleep within a minute of turning the light off in his room tonight.
Tomorrow is work for me, kindy for M (I just finished baking a cake for him to bring in so they can sing for him as it's his last day there before his birthday) and H is firstly taking M to kindy and going to try to find missing clothes (this has been a massive upset in our family in the last 48 hours) and then he is going to the orthodontist for the very first time.
12 confirmed children for birthday party now. Three families with children have not RSVP'd (all kindy families) and neither have two of H's aunties. I'm just going to assume they're not coming. There will still be lots and lots of people, and honestly all the ones that really, really matter are all coming. So yay for that. And I am sooo doing a Hungry Jacks party next year.
