Yesterday after work I got a phone call from an old Uni friend; SJB, who is in town at the moment. So I jumped on the train home and he came around to our place and we had about 30-45 minute chat about this and that before he had to leave again to go to a meeting.
It was really nice to see him, it's been a couple of years. And I think it was so nice of him to make the effort to drive all the way out here just for a coffee and a chat.
Anyways, today M and I are heading to Lollipops Cannon Hill to see SBLL and LAC for a few hours and then to swim school in the afternoon, of course.
We have a busy weekend ahead, as always. Tomorrow we're driving up the Sunny Coast to visit Grandma at her new place and at nighttime I'm going out for drinks (well, I'll be drinking water) with people at work. Sunday Uncle J is coming over for some ping-pong.
Good times! Our housewarming is next weekend, I can't wait!
