It's exhausting to have the day off work

It's been a stupidly busy day.
So yes, last Wednesday for M at kindy, just so that I could do the hospital appointment and blood test by myself. The hospital appointment was fine; I was in with the midwife for about 5 minutes, but then had to sit and wait for the bloodtest for an hour. Oh well.
Then I went to the shops to look at maternity clothes, to Medicare to figure out the paid parental leave (they were insanely unhelpful), the pharmacy and then the bank where I ended up speaking to a guy about our mortgages for like 45 minutes.
I was so tired I felt sick after that.
Home again and picked M up early from kindy and we had a lovely swim at the local pool. H came home and tonight we have gone through all the old baby stuff from M to see what can be used for a little girl too. Quite a bit, actually! We are getting rid of all the obvious blue stuff (giving them to Salvation Army) but there was lots of white and green and yellow and so on that will be okay on a little princess too. Found a few maternity wear items too, happy about that.
I'm pooped now, but that's okay. Working tomorrow of course and then I'm rostered on every Saturday for like a month (woo hoo!!!). With all those shifts and the car club and random commitments here and there, I don't have a free day for months. It's nice to be busy :-)

This is an artwork M and I are sending to P&E, I'll get it in the mail this week sometime. He was very chuffed with himself, especially because he remember how to write both his own name AND my name too!
