Halloween

M had dress-ups at kindy today for Halloween and went as a bat. It was very easy getting him out of bed this morning, all I had to remind him of was the outfit. He looooves dress-ups.

After kindy I took him to soccer where he had lots of fun. My work was good too.

Then tonight I put up a couple of orange balloons and this skeleton by our front door just in case we would have any trick-or-treaters. Both H and I told M not to get too excited, probably nobody would come. I had a bag of "Scream Chocolates" and a huge bag of "Creepy Crawlies", thinking it'd be enough for both tonight and the Halloween party on Saturday. I mean, we've never seen trick-or-treaters before...

Well, I was very wrong! We had ten knocks on the door and probably a total of 40 kids! And all the candy is gone! Now I've got to figure out what to do for the party on Saturday... which is fun anyways, because M and I will probably make something special like a ghost cake or similar.

I think our street is so long (couple of hundred houses) so lots of kids walked past and saw our balloons and skeleton. M thought it was the best night ever. Let's just hope he'll be able to sleep tonight though... after seeing all those scary clowns and witches and monsters :-)
