When I wake up in the mornings I can hardly move my hands. Apparently this is called Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and it's quite common late in pregnancies. I didn't have it the first time around though.
My hands start warming up and get less achey as the day goes by, but never totally goes away. This morning my feet are a little bit swollen too, but not too bad. I must say our house is proving to be wonderfully cool (I'm sooo happy about that!). We have lots of windows to open everywhere and the big fans that H installed and together it all works great. Hopefully we will never feel a need for air-conditioners!
Talking about air-cons... today I am driving the Mazda to a mechanic in Milton to get her air-con fixed finally after almost two years. It's going to cost a bit, but we can obviously not transport an infant baby in a hot car so there is no way around it (apart from buying a new car of course, but that'll cost even more!).
Unfortunately this leaves M and myself stranded in the city all day. I'm not quite sure what exactly we will do. I looked up cinema sessions but there are no kids movies on, and nothing on at GOMA or anywhere else. Perhaps I'll take him to Southbank for a swim. He'll love that. But it will also absolutely exhaust me.
I already know I'm going to sleep well tonight :-)
