Retention, and I don't mean water in my feet

The company that H works for has downgraded quite dramatically this week, just out of nowhere. Whilst it has meant plenty of redundancies; but for H it has been quite different. Basically; he is guaranteed pay for the next 12 months and then a large bonus amount at the end of next year.
So, whilst it's a crazy situation and not great for most people; for us it's safety. At least for the next year. And with me about to have a baby; that's a pretty big deal.
My feet are already swollen and it's only 11am. I wonder what they'll be like at 8pm. Gah. Just want to cry.
