It was a crazy long trip! The first part wasn't too bad, from Brisbane to Singapore, because there was no turbulence and we were all still in a pretty good shape and the staff was beautiful. So incredibly helpful.
Singapore was great fun too, but the last couple of hours were spent sleeping on the floor next to the gate because both kids were very tired.
The flight between Singapore and Helsinki was 12 hours and they were the longest 12 hours of my life ever. Both kids slept a large part of it, but I didn't sleep any so very exhausted. Then once we were in Helsinki we felt pretty excited and enjoyed some yummy Starbucks and bought Angry Birds toys.
A lovely couple gave me a hand with all the luggage at Stockholm and then it was out to see the family. Very wonderful.
We are still struggling a lot with jetlag but tonight the kids have both ended up in bed at a pretty good time so fingers crossed we are on the right way now.
M is loving the snow and all the attention, Little J is settling in now and is so in love with Uncle J, and I am tired but good. Tomorrow we are going to play in the snow in the morning. Should be good fun!
