Dramas

We have had major finch dramas!
It started with us getting them a flight cage with lots of space, and they were soooo happy! BUT!
All that space I think made them think of love/family/stuff such as (given enough space birds do) and two of the finches fell in love. Snuggled up together, preening each other and being happy. Very cute, but that did mean one little finch was left out of it.
At first s/he mainly seemed a bit bummed out (see picture) but yesterday it took a nasty turn when s/he decided to attack the others. S/he went for their feet and hurt one of them pretty badly.
So today H got another finch. Now there's four. Let's hope for EVERYONE that we have two couples now and have not made a bad situation worse...
