Went shopping today, but only spent $2!
I got a $50 Myer gift card from some people so I wanted to spend it on some clothes. Well, I get to Myer at Chermside and realise that everything I like is over $200. I mean really, who buys $500 handbags? That's fricking ridiculous.
A bit disillusioned I go to Esprit (I had a $10 voucher for earning 500 points or something like that) and they are having huge massive awesome sale and with my voucher and an extra $2 I walk out of there with two long sleeved shirts. Yay!
So I return to Myer in much better spirits, and decide to skip the clothes section since I already got some clothes now, and go up to the toy area. They got another huge massive awesome sale there; so I buy Scrabble Junior! How much fun is that going to be? We have been playing a lot of Cluedo with M lately, he's such a good age for board games now.
Then I walk past the jewellery section at Myer on the way out and stop to find these cute earrings for $25 but with 30% off so I figure the $19 I still got left on the gift card should be sufficient. And guess what, they scan through at $6! So I still got $13 left, yay.
RETAIL THERAPY WORKS! I have been feeling a bit down in the last couple of weeks, but this really helped. How fricking sad is that ha ha ha!!!
alltid lika roligt att shoppa fina saker
