Apple & Cinnamon Cake

From Stephanie Alexander's "Kitchen Garden Companion" that Auntie L and Uncle P got me a while back. H bought these beautiful Granny Smith apples, and I really wanted to bake something new.
Haven't tried it yet, but it looks great! Quite easy to make as well, although had to beat the eggs and sugar FOREVER!
Yesterday I went to Aldi to get groceries. I usually only buy nappies there, but since we want to cut down on our living expenses we decided to give other stuff a try as well. Everything is much cheaper than Woolies, but I am not sure about the quality though.
So far the bread has been okay (not as good as the twice as expensive stuff at Woolies though) and the milk is all good. But the sausages (which we ate last night) were horrific, so we will go back to getting them at the local butcher.
Today is home day! Trying to be a good housewife lol. It's just soooo boring...
