Salmon and pasta pies

Well, well, well. This was my culinary creation of the night, once again from the Low GI Family Cookbook. It took like 45 minutes to prep 6 of these to go in the oven; lots of grating of vegetables and whisking eggs and searching through salmon pieces for bones and the whole time I was thinking... "they're going to hate it, they're going to hate it, they're going to hate it."
Why? Because whenever there's salmon, there's scrunched-up faces. BUT! Not tonight. Cleaned plates, both of them! And H got one in his lunch box for tomorrow too, on his request. Yay for that!
Today was a quiet one. H was out drinking late with G&J and others so he slept until 10am, M and I went to Coffee Club for breakfast. Then we drove to North Pine Dam for a play at the playground and had some lunch at Dayboro Hotel. Got a chicken burger, with chips. Ate the lot, because it was so yummy and I haven't had anything like it in ages. So yeah, I am so doing the crosstrainer tonight!!!
