... well, M is at kindy today and H had to work. So I'm home alone. Hooray!
Went to Chermside shops, surprised to find almost a third of the shops closed because of the floods. Anyways, managed to get some shopping done; Auntie L's birthday present and a couple of things for M's birthday (Superman costume!). Really wanted those very awesome superhero birthday party invitations from the toy store but unfortunately they were closed. Oh well, I'll take M around there tomorrow, I think. Traffic is still a bit crappy, because even though the water has gone down the main road into Spine is still shut off because of all the debris.
Woolies at Chermside had like 4 bottles of milk at 9am in the morning, lucky I was there so early! Bread was fine though, but fruit is scarce too. Such is life.
No rain yesterday, and none today either so far but it sure looks like there could be some this afternoon. Will pick M up decently early and then take him to the pool. That is what he has been promised, you see.
