Fresh air and puzzles

This week I have tried really hard to get involved and do fun stuff with Little J. I need to initiate more activities on our days off, rather than just be a sack of potatoes.

So we have been to the park twice, which has been lovely fun. It has also meant Little J having very long midday sleeps; from all that fresh air.
Also we have continued with the puzzles. Little J quite enjoys puzzles but up until now she has gotten very frustrated with the pieces not fitting (thinking slamming them down really hard should make them fit).

But now, especially with the puzzle in this picture, she is finally getting it, even turning them around a little to get them to slot in. Great success.

This weekend is very busy. Tomorrow we are going to a birthday party for M's class mate in the morning, then A&E are coming over for a play in the afternoon and in the evening H is going out for JV's birthday bash in the Valley. On Sunday we are going to Alma Park Zoo, since Little J is so obsessed with animals. Should be fun!
