Survived first day

It's been a long day today.
So, what did we do? Well, we went to the "ticket shop" as M calls it. It's one of those arcade game places at our local Westfield. Yes, I take my 3 year old to arcade game places, he loves it! We throw balls into cows mouths, shoot at clowns, kill mice with a hammer and do some bowling and at the end we have a bunch of tickets that we swap for awesome pressies. Today my $10 gave us 187 tickets which equalled a bag of marbles, a bath toy, a bouncy ball and a lollipop. Yes, maybe if we had just gone to BigW that stuff would have cost about $4 but what's the fun in that? Maybe it's not age appropriate or whatever, but it's lots of fun for both of us. So yes, whatever I say!
After that just stayed at home, which we don't do well. At about 3pm M was climbing the walls and I was desperate for a break. Decided to bake brownies, just for something to do. Will bring them to work tomorrow, they always get eaten there. Ha ha.
So will now drink a couple of whiskey and colas, do some writing and in about two hours will watch Underbelly. It's pretty crap but entertaining enough in its sick and twisted way.
H arrived safely, after a 10 hour drive. Calls and wants me to post him a jacket, it's cold down there. We decide he should just go buy one instead.
