This is the print!It's actually from the very first chapter in the very first book! Rand and his father Tam are farmers walking down the road to the village keeping an eye out for wolves (that's why he's holding his longbow). But there is a mysterious rider... and to cut a very, very long story very, very short that rider is a Fade which is one of a hundred other beings who try to kill Rand over the next few years as he find out he is the worlds only saviour against the Dark One.
In the beginning Rand is a very lovable, innocent country boy but by book 13 (Towers of Midnight) he is a half-crazy and demanding ruler and battle leader. Rand is the main reason I love Wheel of Time, he has such a journey and it affects him so deeply and thoroughly that he becomes this completely different person.
But this picture, it portrays him before all that happened. Poor guy.
