The range

We are a funny couple; H and I.
Today we all bundled into the 1970s Ford Escort (M in the backseat), H in his cowboy hat and I with my bow and arrows and drove down to the range blaring The Prodigy really loud. It was when we stopped at the gas station and everyone was staring at us in confusion/disbelief that we realised how quirky we must seem. Or like H said "Pigeon-hole this!" Ha!
So yes, I got to have a shoot and it went quite well. Most of the targets were destroyed though and there was plenty of debris and rubbish and stuff all over the club, and one of the signs had fallen to the ground. But all in all, the range fared quite well in the crazy weather.
Once we got home I had an afternoon sleep that ended up lasting 3 hours! Got up and whilst still sleepy started cooking dinner, because it was already 5pm. H is reading M a bedtime story, and silence and calm will soon fall over the Burroughs residence.
Tomorrow it's all up to me to entertain hyper-active 4-year old. Pool first. Then... something. It's Auntie L's birthday tomorrow too, but they are too busy cleaning up so we won't catch up. Perhaps next weekend.
