Good busy

We had a sleep-in this morning so ended up having a very short chat to P&E before hurrying off to Swedish School. We hadn't been there for ages and I wasn't sure what it was going to be like but I have to say M's behaviour was much improved from last year. The fact that he goes to school now has made a huge difference; he sat still and raised his hand if he had any questions. Little J slept through most of it so that was easy.
Then, after a quick dash into Gloria Jean's, we drove home and relaxed for about an hour and then it was off to a birthday party with one of M's new school friends. It was a very unusual party. The family lived on a huge property in a super-fancy house but they were far from fancy people and the house was filled with pinball-machines and stuff.
And they were all dressed up! The dad was Darth Vader and the mum Princess Leia (in the gold bikini, gosh) and the uncle was a Storm Trooper and they ran around with lightsabers with the kids totally ignoring the rest of us parents who just sat on some chairs eating chips and chatting.
Well, guess what! The kids had the best time! Great success.
